Terms & Conditions

Version: 1.0
Last updated: 15th of December 2025

1.0 Payment

1.1 The service includes the design and development of your website, along with one year of domain name registration and website hosting. To continue hosting your website beyond the first year, a renewal fee of £99 per year is payable in advance of the renewal date.

1.2 All outstanding invoices must be settled in full before the website goes live. Failure to make prompt payment may delay the launch of your website.

2.0 Content Gathering

2.1 We will provide website text content and attempt to source suitable photos and reviews from your social media. If we are unable to find relevant content, it is your responsibility to supply the necessary materials within 7 days of our request.

2.2 If you require a logo to be added to your website, please provide a suitable file in .svg, .eps, or .pdf format. Alternatively, we can reformat your existing logo from other file types for an additional fee of £35.

3.0 Project Approval

3.1 Once your website is ready for review, we will provide a preview link (the approval date). You will have 7 days from this date to request changes or approve the website.

3.2 The project includes two rounds of revisions, which may include changes to photos, reviews, colours, or text. Any additional changes outside this scope may incur extra charges, which will be agreed upon prior to commencement. All changes must be submitted within 7 days of the approval date.

3.3 If no response is received within 7 days of the approval date, the website will be deemed approved, and the final payment will become due.

3.4 If the final payment is not received within 14 days of the approval date, your order will be cancelled, and the website will be permanently deleted.

4.0 Cancellation

4.1 A proforma invoice will be issued 30 days before your annual hosting renewal is due. If you choose not to continue, or payment is not received before your current hosting period ends, your website hosting will be terminated and the domain name will not be renewed. Please note, this may result in your domain name being acquired by a third party.

4.2 Domain name transfers out are subject to a £20 administration fee, payable in advance of the transfer.

4.3 We, QBIT, reserve the right to retain any deposit paid if the project is cancelled partway through development.

4.4 We offer a 30 day refund policy; however, under normal circumstances, refunds are not issued once work has commenced or services have been delivered.

5.0 Suspension of Services

5.1 We reserve the right to suspend services if you are found to be in breach of these terms and conditions.

5.2 If your hosting service is terminated, a £35 reconnection fee will apply in addition to any other outstanding charges before services can be reinstated.

6.0 Quotation

6.1 All quotations are valid for 30 days from the issue date and may be subject to change thereafter.
